Claudia TAO began her piano lessons at the age of 6 and made her stage debut at 7. During her childhood, she discovered immense joy in playing the piano, and she also earned several honours in various piano competitions, including the 1st Prize in the Yamaha Piano Competition at the age of 10. Piano became more and more important role in her young age, and these early experiences set the stage for her promising artistic career.
Claudia TAO studied piano performance and chamber music in France at Ecole Normal de Musique de Paris, Besançon Conservatory of Music, CESMD, and the University of Poitiers. Her teachers and mentors include Alain Keneth, Jacque Lagarde, Veronique Bonnecaze, Yves Descharme, Elena Rozanova, Pascal Roger, and Jean-Francois Heisser. Chamber music with Bernard Mauppin, Nina Patercec, Alain Villard, Gilles Tressos, Alain Trésallet.
